Plastics Recycling Rate Labelling

Below are my suggestions to label plastics which I believe will raise public awareness, expose the truth about plastic waste, and discourage unbridled usage of plastics.

Any plastic beverage or food container ought to include an indication of the likely / average percentage of plastics that could be recycled along with the percentage of plastics that may be incinerated and end up in landfills or oceans as shown below

Labels may also be used to convey the same message on Plastic bottles / containers;

< 9% Recycled

~14% incinerated

> 75% in Landfills or Oceans
